Retrofit the ITS™ without damaging your tools
There are many tool tethering systems that require you to modify your existing tools. Often a hole needs to be drilled for the attachment. We often encounter a number of objections here:
- Time-consuming adjustments
- Expiration of tool warranty due to modification
- Expired certification of tools
Perhaps you often work at ground level and permanent adjustment is not necessary or desirable at all.
The NLG Instant Tether System™ eliminates all of these problems. How? Quite simply, the system is designed to work with any tool without the need for modification. You don’t have to worry about damaging your tool while installing our tether system.
It is quick and easy to install; and when you remove it, there is no staining, no sticky residue from glue and no damage.
Ready to use?
Our unique Tether Tape™ is a cohesive silicone tape with fiberglass mesh woven into it, giving it the strength it needs to do its job.
Once activated, the tape will bond to itself without any adhesive. After 24 hours, the tape will be fully cured and solid. But you don't have to wait to use your tools.
The Tether Tape™ has been tested and certified for immediate use.
Install the ITS™ yourself
We designed the ITS with ease of use as a key consideration, so self-installation was an essential part of our Instant Tether System™. You don’t have to worry about sending your expensive tools away to have a fastening system installed. You won’t miss work or have downtime waiting for your tools to be returned.
Our Instant Tether System™ consists of two things:
- A D-ring tool anchor: large or small
- Tethertape™ .
First, select the correct D-ring anchor for your tool. These come in a variety of sizes.
Next, cut a piece of Tether Tape™. This should be long enough to wrap around your tool at least eight times. Our tape uses self-fusing technology to give it an unbeatable grip. Simply remove the plastic backing when you’re ready to attach your D-ring strap, making sure to keep the Tether Tape™ stretched firmly as you wrap it around your tool.
It is the stretching that activates the self-fusing technology. Once it is glued, its use is guaranteed for one year. When that time is up, simply cut the tape and replace it. You can reuse the D-ring as many times as you like.
You don't need any special equipment or knowledge to install our Instant Tether System™. Just watch our step-by-step video to find out.
Manage your tool tethering system
If you’re responsible for security within your company, you have a lot to think about every day. We don’t want to add to that burden, so we thought about how we could make managing Tether Systems easy.
To start with, all our products are provided with a unique serial number for identification. By scanning the label you will find all relevant information of the product.
The ITS™ has a one year warranty, meaning the tape should be replaced after 12 months. To help you keep track of this, we offer our Tether Tape™ in two different colors: green and orange.
By alternating the colours green and orange you can see at a glance which tools are safe to use. You can continue to use the D-Ring anchor as long as it is in good condition.
We believe that tool tie-downs are essential to prevent objects from falling and causing accidents . But we also believe that implementing such systems should be quick, simple and cost-effective.
With our Instant Tether System™ you create safety in seconds. What are you waiting for? Make Tool Tethering part of your safety strategy and prevent damage and accidents from falling tools.
